A little excitement!

Last week October 17, 20013 started out somewhat normal for us.. Thursday rolled around and we were headed up to Tejas Rodeo for a little dinner and ride time for Wade and I and play time for the kiddos. After i finished riding we were heading to arena to tie and up and then eat dinner at the steakhouse. Wade walked ahead of me with both kids upon the horses, Whitt on Cinco, Dylan on Shooter. In just a moment something spooked Shooter and Dylan went face first on the the hard caliche road. Wade scooped her up and that's when the worry/freak  out set in . Dylan's actions were something you never want to see from your child.. she was holding her head and neck to the side wouldn't make eye contact and was moaning in pain not the screaming cry you want to hear. Immediately Wade yells at nearby folks to call 911. The next moments were awful I just held her and prayed and prayed and prayed. The EMS arrived and recommended we take her in and of course we agreed. We rushed her to North Central. Dad met us there thank God and we got settled in and waited for a Cat Scan... after 5 long hours she was checked from head to toe and we received the most wonderful blessing of no major damage to our sweet spunky little girl. I made several promises to God that evening that I intend to keep; Although I know the kids will fall off again it will not be off Shooter nor without a helmet :)
